    Description

    Offered here are four(4) beautiful Franciscan Desert Rose Coupe Dessert Plates in Excellent Condition.  Made in USA.  Condition is used but excellent without any chips, cracks or crazing.  One plate has some paint residue beneath the glaze, smooth to touch on the bottom edge of the plate(see photo).  This is common with hand painted pottery and does not detract from the piece.  All four plates carry the old, circular "Franciscan Hand Decorated Oven Safe Made in California" back stamp indicating manufacture between 1953 to 1958 period.  The plates are 7 1/4 inches in diameter.  The coupe style makes for particularly attractive display pieces.
