    Description

    Offered here is the hard-to-find Large(2 1/2 quart) Franciscan Desert Rose Casserole with Lid.  It is bright in color and in good condition with no chips.  The bowl does have a tight stress crack at the rim.  Photos in the 10th and 11th position attempt to show the defect.  I did not notice the defect until I washed the piece in preparation for offering it here.  The piece measures nearly 12 inches across the handles.  The bowl in 3 1/4 inches in height and bowl with lid is 6 inches in height to top of rose bud.  This piece was manufactured in 1975 or 1976.
