    Description

    Currently available is this 1/48 scale unassembled model kit of the Panzerkampfwagen IV, Ausf. D tank made by Bandai of Japan in the 1970s.  Introduced in 1936, the Panzer IV would go on to become the backbone of the German Panzer force armed with a 75 mm main gun and two MG 34 machine guns operated by a crew of five.  This early D model Panzer IV would see the beginning of the war to Russia and North Africa before being replaced by the longer barreled F model and the Panzer IV chassis would become the basis for numerous assault guns and self propelled artillery.  This well detailed, unassembled kit is molded in gray plastic still in the original wrappers and is in excellent condition.
